Visitors of the fair will find the “ispo Best Ager Gallery�?
at the booth number A6.116 in hall A6. For the third time now, at this
special area ispo provides offers and information for trade and
industry about the growing target group 50plus.
The firms ODLO and Kettler, as well as the German Association for Ski
Instructors (DSLV) and the tourist magnet Alta Pusteria in Southern
Tyrol use this special platform as exhibitors to present their offers
to the market. With ideas for a special ski design, the concept of
“SkiVision�? for the first time visualizes the topic of
design 50plus. Personal explanations about the broad range of
information gathered at the gallery will be offered three times a day
at the booth. The exhibits of the different firms will also be
presented during that time. The current Best Ager sports market survey
(IfD Allensbach) will be a topic at the booth and presented in a
speech.
“This topic is not a short-lived trend but is based on a changing
society. As the international b2b platform for sports, we present the
ispo Best Ager Gallery where we show chances and opportunities in this
field�?, explains Tobias Gröber, Head of ispo Group.
It is clear to the Marketing and Sales Director of the Swiss enterprise
ODLO, Rick Bühler: “Best Agers are an important target group
for ODLO Nordic Walking. They are active, enjoy life, have high demands
with regard to quality and are not financially restricted.�? ODLO
presents itself at ispo Best Ager with its Nordic Walking offer.
Adalbert von der Osten, secretary of the Federal Association of the
German Sports Equipment Industry (BSI) says: “The demographic
change is not a future prognosis but a present fact and it is a
creeping process which has to be taken into account by the producers
and retailers in order to develop specially designed products and to
establish adequate communication with regard to their market and to the
target group. Being an association of businesses of the middle class,
it is our task to accompany changes of the overall frame of the market
positively. Therefore, the BSI supports the initiative Best
Ager.“
ispo Best Ager is also welcomed from the part of the specialized sports
retail. Jens Forstmann, Secretary of the Association for the German
Specialized Sports Retail, explains: “On this platform, our
specialized sports retailers can choose adequate products in order to
offer an exquisite service for the year to year increasing target group
´Best Ager` and to satisfy their needs and demands as regular
customers. Being the Association of the Specialized Sports Retail, it
