Under the heading
“SkiVision”, the topic of trend design 50plus will be visualized for the first
time by means of ski design concepts. One area at the ispo Best Ager Gallery
will show the “SkiVision” trend design concepts.
SkiVision is realised in cooperation with
the VDMV (Association of German Fashion and Textile Designers). From numerous
contributions, four designs were chosen by an independent jury of
representatives from trade and industry, which are based on the four trend
charts of the VDMD for the fall/winter season 08/09.
It was the task of the designers to adapt
the trend colour cards of the VDMD for the fall/winter season 08/09 to the ski.
A special focus was put on “the woman who, due to a rich experience in life,
knows what she wants”. Women have anyhow been developed as a target group only
recently and elderly women have up till now not been discussed at all, although
they are ahead of the men with regard to their activity in sports. Therefore,
this topic was chosen.
SkiVision is presented as an object-like,
deliberately provocative trend-installation. At the booth, the designers will
project 3-D-installations onto the ski along with the printed designs. Iris
André, project manager SkiVision and vice president of the VDMD explains:
“SkiVision attracts attention, provides starting-points for further reflection,
formulates concepts from the world of Best Ager and visualizes four lifestyle
worlds”. |
